
Spencer P. Rabe earned his J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati Donald P. Klekamp College of Law in 2026, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and received six CALI Awards, as well as the John R. Sayler Evidence Prize. During law school, he served as a Fellow and Teaching Assistant for Civil Procedure, helping first-year law students develop the skills necessary to succeed in law school. He also interned with the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic and served as Executive Editor of the University of Cincinnati Intellectual Property & Computer Law Journal. His article, “How to Stop Employees from Stealing Your Trade Secrets: Shifting the Focus to Prevention and Mitigation,” was published in thejournal.
Before law school, Spencer earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business in 2023, where he participated in the University Honors Program.
Spencer gained practical legal experience through summer associate positions at Taft Law, a judicial externship with the Honorable Judge Barrett in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and a legal externship at Katz Teller. These experiences provided him with exposure to both transactional and litigation matters and reinforced his interest in helping businesses and individuals navigate complex legal and strategic issues.
Outside of his legal practice, Spencer enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his fiancé, Frannie. Together, they hope to one day visit all the national parks.
