Ashley M. Young
If you ask Ashley Young what she would have done if she hadn’t pursued law, she will tell you that you would have found her renovating houses—not because she enjoys ripping out drywall, but because she thrives on pushing things to reach their full potential. In law, Ashley’s goal is no different. When faced with client issues, both big and small, she sets her mind on the best approach, not just the easiest.
Ashley is a native Cincinnatian. In 2013, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati with a B.A. in Philosophy. During her last year of law school, she served as Executive Director to the University of Cincinnati College of Law’s Moot Court Honor Board. In 2017, the University of Cincinnati College of Law awarded her the Commercial Law Award, honoring her as the top scholar in contract law, commercial law, and bankruptcy law.
At Katz Teller, Ashley’s practice area is not yet concentrated in any one area. As a result, her legal advice touches on areas of law as diverse as our clients. Whatever the task, though, Ashley approaches with the same care and foresight she would with any problem in life: with one eye on the problem at hand and one eye on the problems yet to come.
