CINCINNATI, OHIO [May 6, 2008] - Katz, Teller, Brant & Hild President and CEO, Mark J. Jahnke, was named the 2008 recipient of the Neil H. McElroy Award from the United Way of Greater Cincinnati. Jahnke received this prestigious award for his resource development efforts for United Way and his leadership of Katz Teller’s United Way Campaign for several years, keeping Katz Teller as the number one company in terms of per capita giving for United Way of Greater Cincinnati.
In addition to his involvement in corporate giving, Jahnke and his wife, Karen, have also held numerous leadership positions with the United Way. Jahnke is also a member of the board of Success by Six, a United Way initiative focused on strengthening pre-school education.
Jahnke is a member of the board of directors of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and is General Counsel and member of the Chamber’s Executive Committee. He was recognized by Law & Politics Media, Inc., as an Ohio Super Lawyer, and has been named one of the top 50 lawyers in Cincinnati and one of the top 100 lawyers in Ohio. He has also been included annually in listings for The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers’ America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions Law.
He received his law degree from Northwestern School of Law and his bachelors and masters degrees from The Ohio State University.
