Practice Description
Brad's practice is concentrated in corporate and business law with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, business workouts and commercial transactions. Brad represents business organizations in matters including formation, organizational structure, owner/shareholder relationships, business succession, business and employment contracts, and related issues. A significant portion of Brad's practice is dedicated to business purchase and sale transactions on behalf of a number of firm clients.
Brad represents a large cross section of business enterprises in the greater Cincinnati area ranging from manufacturing companies to service oriented businesses. Brad also represents a number of professional clients including attorneys, physicians, brokers, and veterinarians.
Brad assists family owned businesses with business succession planning and also has represented a number of clients in shareholder/owner disputes and has been involved on behalf of both minority and majority owners. Brad has handled a number of large transactions involving licensed nursing homes and retirement communities, including long term leases involving these types of business facilities.
Brad's background in corporate finance and accounting has been helpful in his practice. After earning a degree in finance at the University of Cincinnati, Brad served as an accountant for the Procter & Gamble Company prior to entering law school.
